Mommy is frustrated. Buddy doesn't seem to care, except he says he wants to go to preschool, and he must be mostly potty trained before 8/15. In my mind, that means he must tell me when he needs to go 75% of the time or more.... not wait til he leaks to head to the toilet.
If I tell him when to go, he stays dry, but if I wait for him to tell me, he has an accident. At least it's pee, I guess. He seems to dislike poop in his pants enough to put THAT where it belongs.
If this doesn't come together quickly, my boy may just be staying home with me without a break a bit longer.

Remember that they will probably have scheduled potty break times at preschool, so if he can hold it til they tell him when to go, he won't necessarily have to tell them when he has to go on his own in order to stay dry. Most kids just go whe. They are told they have to at school... At last that has been my experience. The ones that tell u a lot are usually the ones that just want to play in the water or do something different :)
good reminder. I think he is ready enough. He told me he needed to go in kohl's today... his pull up was dry and he did it. And H had to go really bad so she actually went in a stall all by herself instead of waiting her turn for the one in the big stall.
