Jingle Bear & snapshots from the week

Guess Hannah's favorite Christmas Carol.

A minor miracle took place during this episode of "Dancing with the Bear." She was wearing her training pants and did not have an accident. Today she was not as willing to use the potty as she had been earlier this week, but we're still proud of her progress. This photo was taken Friday, she actually got a couple of more stickers after this:

Bubble Beard

Mommy did most of the work, but Hannah had fun getting cotton and elmer's glue all over her fingers... and washing them in the sink afterward.

Childlike wonder: Hannah loves Christmas lights. This snowman is in front of our neighbor's house. Maybe Hannah can talk Daddy into decorating our house this year.... maybe....

Happy Halloween: Kid Karnival

We had originally planned to go trick-or-treating with our neighbors, but instead we have been visiting Grandma and Grandpa T. all week while Daddy works in their area. Grandma's church had a Kids' Karnival tonight, and we told Hannah she would get candy if she kept her costume on. She was happy to oblige. Here are some photos from our Halloween fun:

Now presenting Hannah Bear

every pumpkin needs a pet rock on top(or every pet rock needs a pumpkin)

the impish grin comes from her daddy

The costume is called "Oatmeal Bear". I got it for $10 from the BabyCenter store. It came with a free lift-the-flap book, too. The other part of the order wasn't in stock, but we still got free shipping since their system didn't catch it. And Tech Mom and I found the thing that was going to come with this, or something similar, at the outlet mall on Saturday.. for $10 less!
It's a tad big, but that means more play time. And she didn't rip the hood off in under 5 minutes!!!!

But I do think she looks as much like an Ewok as a teddy bear. She called it a mouse when she saw the package. Once she had it on she petted herself and said, "furry soft." Or something like that.

I do believe we may join the neighbors for trick-or-treating this year.
To show off my cute bear, or Ewok, of course.

hannah-bear costume on order

I found this costume for $10 at BabyCenter. I'm hoping she'll keep the hat on, but after today's painting episode, which resulted in a bath to get the paint of her face and body, I am willing to take the gamble that she will let me paint her nose and still look bearish. And of course, there is the princess dress which she still refuses to keep on for more than 5 minutes, even though she will carry it around and say "pretty".

Wednesday- I just got an e-mail that it shipped today. I think I really like this tax-free/shipping-free online shopping.

Grandpa brings a present from Grandma

"Thank you!!!"

Why is there a blonde chick on my chest?

"Hannah, off!"

Hannah got to stay up late tonight so she could see Grandpa when he arrived. After we told her he was coming tonight, she kept asking if Grandma was coming too. He brought her a present from Grandma, and we convinced her to try it on. She love it at first. But she became annoyed that the sleeves kept falling off. She also either wanted to play with the Barbie brooch or tear it off, I'm not sure which. We'll have to make some minor adjustments in order to keep it on her. But there is plenty of room to grow, which is better than being too tight!

Grandpa started reading her a bedtime story, but Hannah was so tired that she only sat still for about 2 pages.
